Tancredo Tavarez

 Tancredo Tavarez est entré dans la compagnie Martha Graham en 1990. A New york, il a été membre du corps professoral de la Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, Lehman College (City University of New York), The Actors Studio (cours de Mouvement scénique pour les acteurs du programme en association avec l'école Alvin Ailey) et la Professional Performing Arts School (programme "Junior Division" en association avec l'école Alvin Ailey).

Il déménage en France et enseigne de 1997 à 2003 la technique Graham au Conservatoire à rayonnement régional du Grand Avignon. En 1999, Tancredo devient bénéficiaire du Certificat d'aptitude option danse contemporaine, décerné par le ministère de la Culture Française. En septembre 2004, il est invité par Maurice Béjart et Michel Gascard à joindre le corps pédagogique de l’école - atelier Rudra-Béjart, poste qu’il occupe jusqu’en 2021 

Tancredo Tavarez entered the Martha Graham Dance Company in 1990. In New York City, he was a faculty member of the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, Lehman College, The Actors Studio and the Professional Performing Arts school. In 1997, he moved to France, where he taught the Martha Graham Technique at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional du Grand Avignon until 2003. In 1999, he became a beneficiary of the Certificat d'aptitude option danse contemporaine (Ministère de la Culture Française). In September 2004, he was invited by Maurice Béjart and Michel Gascard to join the teaching faculty of the Ecole-atelier Rudra Béjart, a position he held until 2021.
